Seniors Day At the Zoo
THE CALGARY ZOO WILL BE HOSTING THE PROVINCIAL LAUNCH TO SENIORS’ WEEK 2008. COME AND JOIN US TO CELEBRATE ALBERTA’S SENIORS AND THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE PROVINCE.

- Seniors (60+) will have free admission to the Zoo between 9:00am and noon on Monday 2nd June 2008 and are welcome to stay all day.
- Club Car shuttle service will be available from the gates to the BBQ tent. This service is primarily for seniors with reduced mobility
- Celebrations and presentations will be held commencing 10:30am in the BBQ tent on the Zoo’s West Lawn with special guests including Darrel Janz, CFCN News Anchorman, representatives from the Calgary Zoo, the Provincial Government and The City of Calgary.
- Entertainment will be provided by local musicians “Collage” and “Ivory Strings”
- Visit the various booths set up inside the tent and on the lawn
- Seniors are invited to join us for refreshments and a cookie at 11:30am at the BBQ tent
