Across Canada Schoolyard naturalization projects are found in every province in Canada and participation continues to grow as interest in the concept increases. A number of local support organizations exist across the country. Evergreen Canada is one of them. Located in Toronto, Ontario Evergreen Canada, is a strong national non-profit environmental organization with a mandate to bring nature to cities through naturalization projects. Their “Learning Grounds” program places Evergreen associates in many cities, and provides a variety of resources, from information on funding and curriculum connections, to working with volunteers.
