- Select a first, second and third choice of dates and times.
- When you receive your confirmation letter, the booking process is complete.
- If we are not able to accommodate your preferred dates and times, we will call you.
Booking Forms: Please note that there are two different booking forms. One is for Zoo For a Day programs (secondary full-day programs) ONLY and one if for ALL OTHER school programs.

What is required to book a school program?
- School mailing address, phone number, and fax number
- Name and email for each teacher
- Name of program(s) you are interested in booking
- Preferred dates
- Grade level, number of students
- Any special needs or requirements
- Credit card number and expiry date
When should I book? Programs are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Bookings began August 27, 2012.
PLEASE BOOK BY FAX 403-261-9091. You will receive an email confirming that we have received your fax booking request. This is NOT a confirmation of booking. Bookings will not be taken over the phone or by email.
What payment forms are accepted? Credit Cards only. We require payment at the time of booking. We can accept Visa and MasterCard.
Will we receive confirmation of our booking? Once your program is booked and payment is processed, you will receive an email with a PDF attachment detailing your booking information. This acts as your confirmation and receipt. It also includes several pages of importan Zoo information.
Please review the email to ensure the accuracy of your booking.
What is the cancellation policy? Cancelations will be charged an administration fee of $50.00 if the cancellation is received a minimum of SIX (6) weeks prior to the program date and $75.00 if the cancellation is received a minimum of THREE (3) weeks prior to the program date. NO REFUNDS will be issued for cancellations received less than three (3) weeks prior to the program date. We are a year round facility with indoor and outdoor exhibits. If your school board will not allow you to travel due to inclement weather, we will try to reschedule your program. If we are not able to reschedule your program, you will receive a refund minus an administration fee of $50.00.
What are the class sizes? The maximum class size for kindergarten through grade three is 25. Grade four through grade six is a maximum of 30, and grade seven through twelve is a maximum of 35. These numbers are based on Alberta's Commission on Learning guidelines, and are in place for both safety standards, and to preserve the quality and integrity of our programming. If groups exceed these guidelines, we reserve the right to ask for additional payment. Please do not combine classes.
Are adult supervisors included in the program price? Adult supervisors are included in the program cost at a ratio of 1 adult: 4 students. Adult supervisors must be at least 18 years of age and remain with the group the entire day. The adult supervisor role is vital to ensure that students and our other visitors have a safe and enriching experience at the Zoo. Our experience has shown that the structure and management provided by adult supervisors creates a better overall learning experience for students. Please remember to stay with your group at all times. Where special needs students require attendants, the attendants will receive complimentary admission.
